Stan Dawe Limited is truly a family-run operation, as 20 members of their family have grown up on the job. Now in their third generation, they have served Newfoundland for over 65 years. Starting as a small sawmill operation in 1947, by the 1960s, they expanded to offer a wide range of building supplies. In the 1970s, the grandchildren of the original owner started working in the business.
